Cupcake Shop Story(Beta)
Tales of Crestoria, one of 2020's most hotly anticipated RPGs, has been delayed indefinitely for iOS and Android. The news arrived earlier today over on the game's official Twitter account.

Producer Tomomi Tagawa starts the update off by thanking those who participated in the beta back in May, saying that the game drew in many more testers than expected. Tagawa then goes on to say that some final adjustments are now being made, including necessary fixes that became apparent during the beta. This, however, is taking the team longer than expected.
An update on release dateWe have an update on the release date on our official site and in the text below. We sincerely apologize for the further delay in the game.We offer our sincerest thanks for your support for TALES OF CRESTORIA. pic.twitter.com/WvMrrmpHpn— TALES OF CRESTORIA (@to_crestoria_EN) June 4, 2020As a result, the game will not make its originally intended release date, and a new launch date will be confirmed in due time.

"We apologize for making you all wait so long, but the whole development team will do our absolute best to make sure that the game emerges as polished (sic) it can be".

The game's App Store page currently lists July 22nd as its expected release date, though that could well change. Regardless, it's always best when necessary delays are made, and wouldn't we all ultimately prefer a more polished game at launch?

If you're yet to do so, Tales of Crestoria is now open for pre-registration over on the App Store and Google Play. It'll be a free-to-play title, and you can see a full list of pre-reg milestones and rewards on the game's official site. So far, it's surpassed every single milestone set by the team, with 500,000+ players having already pre-registered.
In need of some high-quality mobile RPGs?
Following the announcement back in July this year, during our first LaunchPad event, Grand Mountain Adventure's Winter 2021 Expansion is now available for both iOS and Android.

The highly anticipated update introduces two of the most requested features from players, local multiplayer and new mountains. It will cost $3.99 for those who own the full game, which itself costs $4.99. However the newly added local multiplayer will be available to everyone for free.

Initially announced two weeks ago, Disney's collaboration with Kabam games, Disney Mirrorverse has now soft-launched in the Philippines for both iOS and Android. News of this recent release was first spotted by our sister site Pocketgamer.biz.

Oddly enough, this very quickly follows another Disney mobile game that was released in collaboration with Glu. However, whilst that title - Disney Sorcerer's Arena - was a turn-based affair, Mirrorverse looks to be more action RPG oriented in its execution, though the character's – or Guardians as they're known in-game – will attack enemies automatically. However, you can tap specific ones to target first, so there is some, limited control over movement.

Each successful strike will make your mana bar increase and once it's filled up enough you'll be able to unleash special attacks that operate on cooldowns. Outside of abilities, your mana can also be spent to counter powerful enemy blows, potentially saving your health bar from massive damage. If you're lacking the mana or wish to save it for your abilities you can opt to tap the ground to dodge their incoming blow instead.

Beyond that, it's still very much a hero-collecting game in the way you might expect with crystals acting as the way to collect new Guardians. This will include characters from across Disney and Pixar's library of movies with the likes of Sulley, Buzz Lightyear, Rapunzel and Merida all making an appearance in the game.

You'll be able to level them all up and each character will have their different uses in a fight. For instance, Belle of Beauty and the Beast fame will act as a support by healing her companions whilst Sulley from Monsters Inc will be at his happiest charging into the middle of enemies and using his special attack to stun them. Since we already tested the game, our Mirrorverse tier list will certainly come in handy the first time you take a dive into it.

Disney Mirrorverse is now available in the Philippines over on the App Store and Google Play with no details on when it will release in other countries. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. If you're interested in updates as they happen you can sign up to the mailing list on the game's official site.
On the lookout for more RPGs to play? Here are 25 of the best available for iOS
