Captain Jim's "few little things" turned out to be a most interesting collection of curios, hideous, quaint and beautiful. And almost every one had some striking story attached to it.
TWO MEN, deadly enemies to each other, were sailing in the same vessel. Determined to keep as far apart as possible, the one seated himself in the stem, and the other in the prow of the ship. A violent storm arose, and with the vessel in great danger of sinking, the one in the stern inquired of the pilot which of the two ends of the ship would go down first. On his replying that he supposed it would be the prow, the Man said, "Death would not be grievous to me, if I could only see my Enemy die before me."If you are familiar with the famous character of Robinson Crusoe and his adventure and know the unexpected wild journey of his character in the Deserted island and you always wished to explore yourself into that world, then here it is the game of your dream. It is an exciting and attractive game that users will admire without a fraction of worry because of its flawless designed interface and features.

Valhalla Lost is a collectible card battler based on Norse mythology which aims to offer a few variations on the popular genre.

Possibly the biggest of these changes is the ability to choose when your creatures use their active abilities. This differs from, say, Hearthstone, where these abilities are used passively and you have no input.

Another game changer is the block ability, which allows a creature to prevent an enemy's attack when used but only if they give up their own chance to attack in the previous round.

When you begin the game, you'll select a character from one of four unique classes, each of which comes with its own unique skills, and equip it with a variety of different armour and weapons.

Then you'll select one of 40 card decks depending on your favourite strategy. There are over 200 cards in the game that represent spells, creatures, wards, and traps and new cards will be introduced every three months.

After that, the world is your oyster. You can follow the intricate story, participate in multi-battle dungeons for extra rewards, fight your friends in the Bar Fight mode, or take on the world in league play if you're feeling truly brave.

A closed beta test is set to begin on September 25th and the developers want you to help them make it the best game it can be.

By participating in the beta, you can become a player designer and have your name appear in the co-designer list as well as gain a unique card with your name on it and become a character in Adventure Mode.

Or, you could just play for fun and gain exclusive rewards when the game launches.

If you're interested, like Valhalla Lost on Facebook or head on over to the official website for more information. You can also play the Android beta version of the game here.

We've known for a little while that HTC would be showing off a war-set first person shooter at Computex, but now that two videos have appeared online, we can confirm that it'll be set in WW2.

HTC's booth is set up with sandbags and a backdrop to resemble the in-game environment. This, combined with the way the HTC Vive works means that what you're seeing people do in real life is what their character is doing in VR.

Gameplay seems simple. Players bed down behind the sandbags, and hold off approaching enemies from different weapons. No word on exactly what weapons there will be, but there's clearly a Thompson in the on-screen footage.

You use the positional tracking of the Vive's hand controllers to hold your weapons, in addition to tossing grenades down the street.

At the end of game there's a brief logo flashing up for a developer, Fantahorn Studio, which seems to be the name of the internal developer.

From what you can see of the screen, before that stage the street gets completely torn apart in a hail of gunfire and explosions.

It's not clear at this point whether the game is destined for full release of if it is simply intended to be a tech demo as HTC experiment with what can be done but either way there's a good chance it'll show up on Steam at some stage.

Similarly it's unclear how deep the game goes - is this the sole level, or is there a series of levels of tower defence gameplay with you playing the role of human tower?

E3 is right around the corner, so if they've got anything else up their sleeve, we'll likely see it then. Hopefully we'll see it then. I love shooters.
