3、
River Legends: A Fly Fishing Adventure is the debut game from Dantat Studios. It's a fishing simulator with pixel graphics and it's available now on Google Play for £4.79.

I've always liked fishing games, but never the actual pursuit. I'm too impatient to wait for a bite and lack the love of the outdoors to want to be there in the first place. So a fun fishing game is definitely preferable.

In River Legends you'll set up your stall in Pine Canyons whilst searching for trophy fish amidst different landscapes. It uses pixel art which gives it a very retro look and combined with the calming music in the trailer makes it seem like this will be a pretty relaxing experience.

4、
QubeTown is one of the most charming town building games available on mobile, with a cute aesthetic, plenty of fun missions to undertake, and a steady flow of sizable updates and fresh additions. The game’s latest update revolves around a wedding festival, and it comes with plenty of rewards and new content to unlock and play around with.

Most of your time at the wedding festival will be spent helping Bryde, a new character who’s struggling to organise her wedding. To make her special day the best it can be, you’re going to have to get your hands on a flower macaroon, a floral crown, and a wedding cake.

Collecting these items thankfully shouldn’t be too much of a hassle, as you can send your citizens out on expeditions to gather the necessary bouquets for you. Once you’ve got enough, you’ll need to start creating the event materials by visiting the bakery to make the macaroon, the weaver’s mill to make the crown, and the cake shop to add the finishing touches to the wedding cake.

Once that’s all done and dusted, you’ll be rewarded with a bunch of rubies, a new costume, and access to some of the themed wedding festival landscape items. The event will run from May 9th to May 15th, so you’ve got a full week to explore all that it has to offer. Oh, and you need to be at least level 14 to get involved.

You should also remember to check out the QubeTown livestream on YouTube and Twitch in order to learn more about the ins and outs of running a busy town. It’s a good idea to keep an eye on the channel if you want to meet fellow players and be in with a chance of winning some promo codes and items. Likewise, the game’s Facebook page is a great way of keeping up to date with the latest QubeTown events and giveaways.

If you’re yet to give this one a go, you can find it available for download over on both the App Store and Google Play. QubeTown is terrific fun alone or with friends, and it only keeps getting better with every new update.

This will be a hard-to-swallow pill for some if it turns out to be true, but Tencent might be making your introduction to PUBG Mobile a little easier than it's letting on.

After only soft launching in Canada last week, PUBG Mobile's been quickly popping up in a variety of areas including the US and Europe. This might've been a snap decision after Fortnite proved its worth already on iOS, but it's good news all around.

It looks like a lot of people have been tucking into delicious chicken dinners recently. Not just people - newbies. As The Verge and then Kotaku caught on, the ratio of (potential) bots to players for new blood seems higher than those more experienced, and that's kind-of wonderful.

Speaking from my own experience, I find it super hard to dive into online multiplayer games because I'm generally belittled by the community for my lack of skills. That won't be an isolated feeling, I know, and perhaps that's why I'm so taken with Fortnite at the moment.

However, if Tencent has set it up so that you're taking on more bots to begin with and the ratio gradually starts thinning out as you get more experience, that's a pretty great tactic. It builds confidence in players which might help them not feel so out of their depth when jumping in for the first time.

Having played my first match just now, some of the characters were ridiculously easy to kill and I know that's not down to my skill. I'm terrible at mobile shooters and I was lagging all over the place, yet I lasted for a good long while.

Of course, if you hate this sort of stuff and would rather be thrown into a shark-infested deep end, you may feel a little bummed out by such coddling.

What do you guys think? If you've had a chance to play a little PUBG Mobile, did you notice anything weird? Let us know in the comments below.

1、
Canadian developer Pop Sandbox plans to mash up Rock Band and Plants vs Zombies, to make a manic rhythm-defence hybrid called LOUD on Planet X.

The game will feature artists like Tegan and Sara, Metric, July Talk, and Austra, who use makeshift weapons like speakers, strobe lights, fog machines, and amps to fend off quirky cartoon aliens.

You'll have to be tactical, in the placement of your weapons. But you'll also need to play to the rhythm as you tap the screen (or a button) to the beat, to unleash attacks.

Right now, the game is on track to launch later this year with nine artists contributing 18 tracks. But the team has taken to Kickstarter, in the hopes of getting enough cash to turn that into 12 bands with 24 songs.

The game's due out in the autumn for PS Vita, with iOS, and Android versions planned too. LOUD on Planet X will also come to PS4 and Steam.

2、
Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop!?! is a game about a potato running a weapon shop. It's an awful lot better than that sounds though, and it's out right now for iPhone and iPad.

We've already reviewed this one, for a variety of reasons, saying that "this is a premium midcore game that crackles with the sort of interesting energy that's getting rarer on the App Store these days."

We went on to give the game a shiny Silver Award, so you know it's going to be good. Forge weapons, sell them on, and try and keep your business afloat. It's smart, it's cute, and there's a lot of depth here.

You can grab the game from the App Store right now for £4.99 / $4.99 by clicking on this hyperlink what I have added into the text.
