"So that is one thing off the poor girl's mind," Miss Cornelia told Anne, "and off mine too. Now, if Dick gets well enough to work again he'll be able to earn enough to pay the interest on it; and if he doesn't I know Captain Jim'll manage someway that Leslie won't have to. He said as much to me. `I'm getting old, Cornelia,' he said, `and I've no chick or child of my own. Leslie won't take a gift from a living man, but mebbe she will from a dead one.' So it will be all right as far as THAT goes. I wish everything else might be settled as satisfactorily. As for that wretch of a Dick, he's been awful these last few days. The devil was in him, believe ME! Leslie and I couldn't get on with our work for the tricks he'd play. He chased all her ducks one day around the yard till most of them died. And not one thing would he do for us. Sometimes, you know, he'll make himself quite handy, bringing in pails of water and wood. But this week if we sent him to the well he'd try to climb down into it. I thought once, `If you'd only shoot down there head-first everything would be nicely settled.'"

Nexon has announced its latest project, and it's one that should be a treat for you if you've ever played Kartrider Rush on mobile. Kartrider Rush+ will be making its way to your screens this year, and there's already a teaser video out there to satisfy your appetite.

One of the big improvements from the original game versus the new one is how much better the graphics look. The 3D graphics help to make the experience more immersive for mobile players when they're driving their way around the track.

Probably the most important aspect is the controls and how it'll be easier for you to pick up and play. The game perfectly fits the mobile control scheme, and it should be something that's welcoming to players both old and new.

You have two chunky arrows on one side of your screen which controls the steering. The size of the buttons is important because you don't have to worry about having your finger or thumb on a precise spot every time.

They're big enough to where it's easier for you to control without getting in the way. It helps make things comfortable, especially if you're a newer player.

Featherweight Games has let us know that the Gold Award-winning Skiing Yeti Mountain will be getting a cheeky update on September 24th.

It'll have a new time extension mode, 10 new challenge mountain tracks, and 10 new pieces of gear ("including Gary's own line of skis, all 'by Gary'").

The cheeky bit is this last bullet point of the update. Featherweight says it's trying a new "comedic monetisation technique."

Apparently, in the game, Larry will open up an Entrepreneurial consultancy "where you can watch his ads in exchange for rock solid business advice."

In other words, if you want game tips you'll need to watch a video ad.

In other news, Featherweight has now donated $18,500 AUD to Plan Nepal Earthquake Appeal from Skiing Yeti Mountain's profits.

As we found out before, Featherweight is donating half of the game's profits to charity. It's a free to play game but there's an IAP to remove ads - that's where this money has come from.

And so far it seems to have worked out very well. That's a very applause-worthy sum to donate. Hopefully this new monetisation system in the upcoming update will increase it quicker.

You can download Skiing Yeti Mountain for free on the App Store and Google Play.

"Why shouldn't you wear it if you want to?" asked Anne.
by William Shakespeare
Yesterday the team behind the popular 3DS emulator Citra, revealed that they've got one brewing for the Nintendo Switch and it's called Yuzu.
Announcing yuzu, the first Nintendo Switch emulator that does all of the things you didn't need it to do! Stay tuned for more from the yuzu team!— yuzu (@yuzuemu) January 14, 2018 There's not an awful lot of information to go on and while this is great news for some gamers, it's also leaves a bit of a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths.

Aside from the ongoing debate as to whether emulators should be legal or not, it's also happened far, far faster than anyone expected, announced only ten months after the Switch's debut. Though plenty of gamers are on board about the idea of Yuzu, there are also those who believe emulators shouldn't be used until the console's had a few years on the market, and that's a fair claim.

Coming from the minds behind Citra, at least the legitimacy is promising. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has already been emulated from the Wii U thanks to Cemu, and as the Switch's flagship game it was surprising to see Nintendo utterly silent on the matter.

Emulation may wade through a bit of a grey area, but when used to bring older games to more recent systems, it gives the titles a new lease of life and keeps them from disappearing. How it'll affect the Switch's life and sales, however, remains to be seen.

What do you guys think? Are you happy about the prospect or are you against it? Let us know in the comments below.
